How DAYNARO GST Calculator handles information on your device, Google Play Billing and content you choose to share.

Summary
This is an offline-first GST calculation and counter-billing tool. We do not operate an account system, advertising network, analytics service or developer-operated server. Shop details, calculation history, custom rules and settings you enter are stored on your device. We do not receive that data.
The app uses Google Play Billing for the optional one-time Counter Pro purchase. Google Play may receive purchase-related information needed to provide product details, process a purchase and restore Pro. The app caches the Pro entitlement locally and does not send purchase data to a DAYNARO Labs server.
1. Data stored on your device
The app may store the following information locally in Android app-private storage:
- Shop profile: shop name, tagline, address, phone number, GSTIN, UPI ID and UPI payee name, if you enter them.
- Calculation history: sessions saved when you choose to copy or share a calculation, including item labels, quantities, prices, discounts, tax rates, totals and timestamps.
- Custom GST rules: rule names and either a fixed rate or a price threshold with its slab rates.
- App settings: language, display preferences and the cached Counter Pro entitlement.
- Generated slip images: temporary PNG files created in the app cache when you choose to share a slip. Android may clear cached files at any time.
We do not upload this information to a DAYNARO Labs server. It is not sold, rented or used for advertising.
2. Permissions, network access and local features
The calculator, HSN search, composition estimate, QR generation and slip generation work without a DAYNARO Labs server. The app does not request access to your camera, contacts, precise location, photos or external storage.
The Google Play Billing library contributes these permissions to the merged Android manifest:
com.android.vending.BILLING— required to offer and restore the Counter Pro purchase.android.permission.INTERNETandandroid.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— used by Google Play Billing to communicate with the Play Store.
There are no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or social-login SDKs in the app.
When you use Copy breakup, its text is placed on the Android clipboard. Other apps or people with access to your device may be able to read clipboard contents. When you share a slip, the app uses a scoped Android FileProvider to give the selected app temporary read access to a PNG in the app cache. The receiving app’s privacy practices apply.
3. Purchases
Counter Pro is a one-time in-app product (counter_pro_lifetime) sold through Google Play. Google Play handles payment processing, taxes, receipts and refunds. We do not receive your card number, bank details or full billing address.
The app can request product details and purchase status from Google Play and receives purchase information needed to unlock or restore Pro. It uses the purchase token to acknowledge a completed purchase; the token is not stored by the app. The Pro entitlement is cached locally so the app can continue working offline. Google’s handling of purchase data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
4. When information leaves the app
The app exchanges product details and purchase status with Google Play Billing when that service is available. This can happen automatically when the app starts and when you buy or restore Pro. Google Play handles its account and transaction data under its own policies.
Apart from Google Play Billing, the app shares information outside itself only when you choose an action. Copying a breakup places its text on the Android clipboard; the app does not send it over the internet. Sharing a slip grants the selected app temporary access to the slip image and any accompanying text. The app does not automatically send your shop profile, history or tax data to DAYNARO Labs.
If you share a slip through WhatsApp or another app, that app and its service providers process the shared content under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control those services.
5. Retention and deletion
Saved history, shop details, custom rules and settings remain in app-private storage until you remove them or clear the app’s data. You can:
- delete individual calculation-history sessions in the app;
- clear the full calculation history in the app;
- edit or replace shop-profile fields;
- edit or delete individual custom rules in the app;
- clear all app data through Android Settings; or
- uninstall the app.
Clearing app data or uninstalling removes custom rules along with local history, shop details and settings. Generated slip images are stored in the app cache and Android may remove them at any time. Clearing app data or uninstalling does not cancel or delete a Google Play purchase. After reinstalling, use Restore purchases with the same Google account to recover Counter Pro.
Android cloud backup is disabled for this app (android:allowBackup="false"). The app does not provide its own cloud backup or export feature. If you need a permanent copy of a slip, save or share it before clearing app data.
6. Security
The app relies on Android’s app sandbox and your device’s lock-screen and storage encryption. We do not add a separate app-specific encryption layer. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Use a device lock and keep your Android system and Google Play services updated.
7. Children
This is a business and accounting tool intended for adults and business users. It is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not operate a server or account system, we cannot access or delete local data from our side; a parent or guardian can delete it by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
8. Your choices and rights
You can access, correct or delete information stored by the app using the controls described in Section 5. If you have a privacy question or a request that cannot be handled on your device, contact DAYNARO Labs at daynarolabs@gmail.com. We may need to verify that a request relates to you before responding.
If the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or another applicable law gives you additional rights, those rights are not limited by this policy. Because the app does not transmit your local business data to us, many requests can be resolved directly on your device.
9. International processing
We do not transfer your local app data to a DAYNARO Labs server. Google Play and any app you choose for sharing may process data in other countries under their own policies.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change or when the law requires it. The effective date at the top will be revised. The current version is available in the app under Settings → Privacy Policy and on the DAYNARO GST Calculator page.
